How to Nominate Colleen Goodacre as Your BAS Agent
From 13 November 2023, all businesses with an ABN (except sole traders) must use the ATO’s Online services for business to nominate a tax agent or BAS agent. This process is known as client-to-agent linking.
Follow the 5 steps below to nominate Colleen Goodacre (Registered Agent Number 24609598) as your BAS agent.
5 steps to nominate Colleen Goodacre as your BAS agent
Already using Online services for business? You can start at Step 3.
Step 1
Set up your myID (formerly myGovID)
myID is the Australian Government’s Digital ID app, used to prove who you are when you deal with government agencies online. Note: myID is different from myGov.
Step 2
Link your myID to your ABN in RAM
Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) lets you act on behalf of your business in government online services. The business’s principal authority (the person responsible for the business) must complete Steps 1 and 2 first.
Step 3
Log in to Online services for business
Log in with your myID.
Step 4
Nominate Colleen Goodacre as your BAS agent
Go to Profile, then Agent details, then Agent nominations, and select Add. Search for Registered Agent Number 24609598, confirm the details, complete the declaration and submit.
Step 5
Let Colleen know once you’ve nominated her
Colleen isn’t notified automatically and must accept the link from her end within 28 days, before the nomination expires. Email hello@cloudscribe.com.au or book a time on Calendly.
