Invoicing with Xero
Ready to get paid faster and make invoicing a breeze? Join our hands-on 3-hour course and discover how Xero’s powerful invoicing tools can simplify your business. Bring your own laptop and, if you already have Stripe, PayPal, or Square accounts set up, Colleen will guide you through hands-on integration. You’ll also learn how to create your invoice templates, create automated recurring invoices, and set up payment options just the way you want them.

Small Business and GST Reporting
Confused about GST? In this 3-hour mini-course, you’ll learn the ins and outs of GST reporting, including when and how to register, what you can claim, and how to lodge your BAS on time. Designed specifically for small business owners, this course simplifies the process, helps you avoid common pitfalls, and provides the tools you need to stay compliant and save time.

Starting A New Business
Thinking of starting a business? This one day course is for you! Colleen will guide you through the essentials, including ABN registration, personal liability insurance considerations, and tips for finding industry-specific registrations and licenses. We’ll discuss the process of how to check if your business name is available, registering your chosen name, and securing a matching domain name and professional email address. You’ll also learn about the importance of opening a dedicated business bank account and how to link bank feeds in Xero for more streamlined bookkeeping.

Xero Essentials
This hands-on workshop will guide you through the essentials of XERO. Designed for individuals who would like to learn the basics of XERO accounting software or small business owners who want to refresh their knowledge of XERO. Learn how to set up XERO, manage invoices and expenses, reconcile bank transactions, and handle GST efficiently. Join Colleen Cook, a registered BAS Agent, as she shares tips and tricks in this one-day Introduction to XERO.
